Is StonedCL still around? I don't think so, because all of Ramblings would be filled with the above topics (between him and the others).

I don't have a problem with it to a point, but come on folks.

Doesn't the Z fall into this exact same category?

Interior is MUCH worse than the CL-S, and the performance ain't nothing to brag about........
nope...hello...the Z isn't meant to be a luxury coupe, it's a sports car, and the performance beats out EVERY car in that price range, save the g35 and the mustang cobra. Not to mention the plethora of aftermarket mods that are and will be available for it that will make it *sick* fast. I would say that is extraordinary. I get compliments all the time about my car's interior btw. Never got that with the CL to be honest. It's a sports car interior anyway, you can't compare that to that of a luxo coupe .

yeah yeah yeah but you can't buy them here yet. After they come out something else will no doubt come out later and blow them away too.

I'm from over the TL board, and can't help but wonder why some people LOOK for things to go wrong, and then take it to the dealer and complain about them too. My experience has been as follows: I have a 2000 TL-P that now has 135,600 miles on it (sales rep) and other than the usual tires and oil changes has needed the following huge list of repairs: one idler pulley and one heated seat pad. Not too bad in my book! This car has been great, and I have over 25 mods including I/E/H. It has not been driven like an old lady, and the stock tranny is still fine. It has only been to the dealer for a timing belt job and the idler. Yes I've maintained it big time, but I have no complaints. My previous work car was an Intrepid that needed a valve job at 62K, and the family Caravan an ENGINE at 71K and a tranny at 97K. No more Chrysler products for me. With the van, something broke every week. Just my 02 cents worth.

I did not take Shawn's statements to mean you shouldn't talk about your car having a problem, or a dealer that is not correcting the problem. It was the off topic BS from people who have no idea what they are talking about (i.e. kids who can't handle a tricycle). And from some people who think that a $30,000.00 car should be as perfect as a $75,000.00 car. I also find no difference in having a car that is paid for, easily being paid for, or being paid for with difficulty. If you feel you deserve a car that runs/looks better because you're having a hard time paying for it, you're looking for sympathy in the wrong place. YMMV

The problem is that $30k+ CL is losing to $20-25k cars. Like WRX, SRT4, Altima, Mazda6, z28, stang and etc,. Not even need to mention those cars at the same lever, like G35c, 350Z, evo8, sti, rx8, firebird, mach 1, maxima. CL has nothing but problems and the first 2 years of depreciation is more than 40%. I think its time to dump my CL.

wow you just named cars that are even out yet. And others are soo new that of course there are no problems known yet. :o

You are really 16 arent you.

Not sure on this one, but i thought they stop making firebirds and z28s due to poor sales.

Your right Shawn, I do agree with you. But people have their own opinion about cars. Yea, you going to get some haters that will say some blasphemy shit out their mouth. You have people that bought the cl-s and just complain (BITCH) about their car from the first day of purchase. NOW that some bitch shit. You have other mutha- fuckas bitchin' about a little squeak that is not really necessary. The fucking car is not perfect, all cars are going to have probelms. If you want to bitch about something, bitch about these thread topics. I have not read nonthing good in about two weeks. I cannot remeber when I last post a relpy besides this one. We need to step it up guys. This site needs some reconstruction on topics. LET KEEP THOSE NON-ACURA HATERS OUT OF HERE!!

Most of you guys.. the veterans especially should know by now that the board goes in cycles... and there are always cycles when people complain. It just happens and there's not much we can do about it. Eventually it will run its course and everything will be back to normal until the next cycle.
