If you plan on running a Pirelli P Zero Nero tire in the snow you better have your will in order and pin a note on your shirt-->
"Take me to _____ Hospital if you find me almost dead"
The P Zero Nero is a High Performance tire ONLY...
So the answer is easy... go with the Conti Ext. Contact

I've been reading about the Pirelli PZero Nero M&S. Everyone raves about them. You'd have to put 225 or 235 because they don't come in a 215. The 235/45's would minimize speedo issues. I just hate how loud the stock tires are driving down the highway ... that's really all you hear!

The Pirelli PZero Nero M&S is a borderline all-season tire. From what I understand, the only difference between the M&S and the summer version is tread compound. Don't expect this tire to handle light snow or slush very well.
winter / all-season tire dilemma
I was looking at the same thing ... 55000km (34000 miles) and I'm about 2/32" from wear bars on OEM Michelins. Based upon what other ppl on various boards have said and TireRack responses:
1) Contis ... load issue. You may get some 'flat spots' after parking your car overnight. Drive it for a few km's and that should make the tires round again. One Toronto guy with a TL told me he'd *never* want to get Contis on his car again. Wobble / flat spot problems despite getting them rebalanced, etc TWICE.
2) Yoko's ... I was looking at either H4S or V4S ... they are too new and I don't know anyone with those tires (yet). Load is factory spec (93XL) and great tread rating (500). Definitely in my top 3 list.
3) Ever consider the Bridgestone Potenza G009? Brand new ... looks good (aggressive tread) but I hear that Potenzas in general don't grip well in the snow. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
4) Last but not least ... Sumitomo HTR+. Probably will get these tires -- price & performance ratio ... pretty good. Don't like them? Get new tires ... only US$79 each on TireRack (drive down to Buffalo ... tires too much $$$ in Canada ...)
