Pilot Sport All season Prices...

Went to Tire Kingdom, to get my Toyos rotated, & rebalanced for free. I asked about the Michelin Pilot Sport All Seasons. They gave me a price of $230/tire mounted, & balanced, + tax. Or $975.20 total with tax. God that's EXPENSIVE!!! Is that a good price though? These are 235-45-17's

Expensive sure... try Cosco... the cary Michelin You may need to special order them....

But you do not need to buy Winter setup....

Let us see I paid $1525 for the summer setup and $750 for the winter setup... so that is $2275!

At a warehouse club like Costco, they should be about $850 for everything. About $200/tire plus the other stuff. I'm waiting for their next $50 rebate.

A local tire store wanted 980, with no road hazard warranty on Z rated tires.

BTW - Costco said they can get tires in 2 days. Nice to know if you need to replace one.

Get the sumitomo+ from tirerack for 1/2 that price. Sears may even match it if you're agressive with them. I consider them about 100% better in all areas than stock. Grippy and quiet--Z rated--360 treadwear.

I plan to move back to NYC in the near future, & the Toyo's are not all season.

Sumi's

Just put on the Sumi's the other day, and the difference is unbelievable, Mich's can't even come close to the wet and dry traction of the sumi's, I had dry weather the day they were put on then rain the next day, plus out the door price was $484 at NTB. I'd be hard pressed to spend twice that on Mich's.

The "Mich's" you're referring to are the stock tires that came with the car. The Pilot A/S is a completely different beast. It's rated the best all-season tire out there.

Now granted they are expensive. Worth double the price of the Sumis? Hard to say...

Hey Jason, if you move back to NYC, you'll need tank treads, especially if you go over the GW.
