Hey guys, here are some pics of the WRX. It's still a work in progress, but I think its coming along nicely. I gotta start showin some love to the cl-s again though. I think she's been getting jealous lately.

I think it would be interesting as a two door hatch-back?

waitta minute...

did you swap license plate frames from your CL!?!?

please tell me you had two.

that would be cruel to take it from the CL to give to the WRX.

No wonder shes jealous.

foe- nah, the wrx sti hasn't been released stateside as of yet. STI is basically the inhouse tuning company of subaru. Similar to mugen. They sell various aftermarket parts for the subaru. I slapped on the sti fog light covers because I'm not too fond of the bugeyed look of the wrx. That's also why I went with the eyelids.

CO-cl-s- Ya, I think it would look interesting as a two door hatchback too. I'd still get the 5 door hatchback, more practical for me.

Soopa- thangs mang. Ya i think it would look better with the headlights cleared. The headlights are only temporary though, until I pick up a set of the HID projectors. Haha, ya, I ganked the frame from the cl.

nt5k- yep, i sure am. thanks mang

Crazy Acura-thanks mang. Ya, i'm not usually a tint lover. I think the waggie definitely needs it though. Too many windows. I was initially thinking bout reflective platinum type tint, but I don't think it'd look too tight on a black car. I'll probably go with a traditional type of tint.

Sweet lookin wagon!

While you're clearing the front lights, I'd paint the chrome flat black like I did on my WRX. Gives it more of a sinister look without losing any functionality:

Yeah, everybody calls my WRX Wagon cute as well, which kinda sucks, but I suppose it's good too since they're always girls that say that.

That is a very tight WRX.... Does anyone have pics of the HID projectors, are those the ones that look like the STI rally car headlights??

Either way, very nice.... 35% tint would complete the package....

Astroboy-thanks a lot man, ya its hard to go back to halogens once you get used to HID's.
Soopa-ya, black for sure
Got PSI-thanks a lot
Ridin' Low-ya, i was thinking about doing that. When I'm done with some of the underhood projects I'll probably work on the exterior again. Your scoobie is lookin' tight, any other pics?
WiLd~CL~TYPS-@SS-The CL actually gets to lounge in the garage 24/7 now.
JRock-when I'm done she won't look so cute., thanks
4pumpedCL-thanks bro, ya the bug-eyed look is too reminiscent of a Neon to me.
KcPreki-can you see the pics yet?
Beltfed-thanks, I'm not decided on the darkness yet though. Probably something not too dark.
Black CL-S 4-Life- thanks, me too. I love the sleeper look of the waggie. Ain't nothin like smoking a mustang or camaro with a station wagon.
Red Rider-thanks bro, ya volk wheels are great.
id-thanks man, I've got a ways to go, but its coming along.
SilverCL225hp-thanks bro
spiroh-thanks man, i had to do something to keep up with your ever expanding mod list.
juniorbean-thanks a lot JB. BTW, here's a pic of the hid projectors. They pretty sweet IMHO.

Sweet! I'm definitely looking into purchasing a WRX Sedan as my 2nd car.

Just curious though, what did you guys pay (minus TT&L) and how much was the AEM intake and did you install it yourself?

Also are there any message board for the WRX you frequent?

The wagon is the ultimate sleeper though. For good measure you should just throw a childseat in the backseat, Winney the Pooh sun screens on the side windows, with a "Mom's Taxi" sign on the back. Muahahaha....

Bnut, I paid $22,900 for the car w/destination charges.

I think they charge around 2bills for the AEM cai, I'm not too sure though. AEM did the install for me when the car spent some extended time over there.

the wrx board that I usually frequent for info is:http://www.i-club.com/

Damn, not bad at all! Do the wagon's typically sell for less than the Sedan? Most of the Sedan's I've looked at, are MSRP'ing for around 25-26k. Also what options did you car come with?

Thanks for the info!

The wagons sticker for about 500 less than the sedans. You should be able to pick a sedan up for 1000 or less above factory invoice, depending on the local supply in your area. I went for zero options. I ordered all the options that I wanted from an online retailer for about half the cost and installed them myself. Everything is pretty easy to install yourself. I ended up installing a factory alarm, speakers, sub, and armrest extension all on my own. I probably saved at leas 1500-2000 by doing it this way.

Yep, the wagon is $500 cheaper than the sedan. For $500 less, you get the extra cargo space, sleeper effect, more oversteer, rear wiper/washer, and roof rails. You only disadvantages are 90 extra lbs (all in the back) and a narrower track (the wagon doesn't have the fender flares).

I paid $22500 minus tradein plus tax for mine back in March.
