Pics of my metallic tint
It's kinda hard to see since it's only 45%, but in real life it looks really good.

The tint is by Johnson. Their website is www.johnsonwindowfilms.com.
The guy who did the install said that they switched to this over the Llumar b/c they were having alot of warranty issues with the llumar.
Somedays I wish I got 35% tint done with a more metallic look like the back of the Lexus SUV, but on most days I'm happy since it is not overly obnoxious.
I read that the law in MD was 35% tint, but the guy who did the install said this was the max legal in the metallic. I dunno. It was a very reputable shop but can you really trust what anyone says in the aftermarket business?
Also, I haven't had any noticeable problems with the AM radio reception since I got it.
One thing I do know is do not have them tint over the matrix on the back of the rear window--no matter how they do it it will eventually bubble off of this matrix. At this percentage tint it is not even noticeable that they cut it prior to that matrix.
