by the way ,in this pic,i had just installed the front springs only of the h&r oe kit.the rear is hopped up a little.these springs only lower it by about .75".it is subtle, but it definitely helps the looks of the car with the new wheels.maybe if i get my lazy butt outside and install the rears ,you guys won't hound me too bad.

+49 offset.tires are continental contisport 2 or something like that.i chose a conservative tire because the last two sets of performance treaded tires i have had started to roar(loud / noisy).those were dunlop w10 and yokohama parada.these tires are nearly as quiet as the stocks,in fact ,almost unnoticeable.

very nice wheels, they did a good job on those 5 spokes...

how much was the package for wheels and tires?

about the yoko's, when you say loud i mean while driving and normal cruiseing as in they were loud in the interior?later,

I hate you! You're going to make me want to spend money to get them afterall.. I've been wanting those since the first time I saw them.. and now to see them on the ride, it just makes me want to get them even more..

could you give us some insight as to how much the wheels were???

SSR GT3 in 18... Fockin beautiful!!

btw, with the H&R OE.. I know the drop is very subtle, but how is the ride?? More handling?

NICE! I was wondering wether these thin-spoked wheels would look good on a CL. You should really consider lowering a bit more though, maybe Comptechs. Now I'm definitely considering these in 19". Decisions, decisions. I'd really like to see them on a CL in person though.

Those are silver right? I can't really see them clearly on this monitor.

I thought I was the only one. I think they come in silver with a chrome lip, that's how I think I'd like them at least.

If those are silver, they look damn good. I think tirerack has them for close to 500 per rim.

tintboy, those look awesome!
Do you think they would rub with comptech springs? what size is the tire?

I'm debating whether to get the SSR GT1's in 17" or the GT3's...

i think these wheels retail at tire rack for around 575.00 each.call my buddy at tire rack .his name is jerry and he is great . ext.376.
the wheels are silver center with polished lip.as for the comptech springs,i did not want this car to look like a lowered car with custom wheels.rather,i wanted it to look agressive but not where someone could tell it had been lowered much. i am happy that it does not lower it any more.i had a prelude sh with h&r springs that lowered it about 1.5 ,and i am not about to do that to this car, which is more luxury than sport.i know some of you guys here think i didn't lower it enough, but it isn't a civic, and i don't care for that look.i also had an s2000 ,and i didn't think about lowering it 2.0 inches either like comptech sells.
but hey, that is why we are all individual, and there is nothing wrong with that.

To each his own, but the Comptechs don't lower the car that much. You'll still have a very visible wheel gap, just not as big as the current one. The Comptechs also give you no ground clearance problems, unless you decide to go off-roading in your CL for some reason. I honestly think that the Comptechs bring the car to the ride height it should've come with from the factory.

By polished lip I'm guessing it gives the lip a chrome apearance, correct? What about the rivets?

Thanks Rod,for your comments.to each his own.
i just didn't want to look like i slammed a luxury/sport coupe.as for the polished lip,it complements the chrome around the glass very well.these wheels look so much better on the car than the stocks. the rivets are kinda love 'em /hate em.my wife thinks they are urban-ish,i think they are the sign of a true three piece lightweight wheel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VERY Sweet rims. They look nice on CL. I've been thinking of replacing my 7's Fittapald's with the GT3. The rivits don't look "urbanish" at all. Gives the expensive 3 piece look. "Urbanish" people can't afford those.

I'm assuming the wheels are 18", but what is the width and the tire size? Thanks for the info.
