Hey guys im looking for a CLS in NBP with the Ron jon front lip only. Ive searched and all im finding is with the full kit..thanks guys!

Ya im not a fan of the whole kit...i like just the front .




IMO the sides come up to much at the end.

 

front looks like a plow

 

the OEM CL's chin looks like a female model, all frail and small, the RJ front lip adds that steroided out lower jaw that the CL needs. If you feel liek the RJ front looks like a plow, then you must like your cars looking feminine.

lol nice photo examples. I personally would never put just a front lip on any car with no sides or rear, just looks funky..

I had my ww lip in the box for like 3 years while I was waiting to get my rear lip, I wouldn't do just 1, gotta be complete

The red is where the lip is now, the blue is where I think it should be. The front lip alone is the only reason I will be going with a modded TL kit if I decide to do it.

thats exactly why i went with the TL kit.

 

Well thats the reason why i got rid of my lip kit the front bulges out way too much makes my car look like a fish

Ouch. I hate bashing on RJ like this. Hes brought alot of things to market for our cars.

Those are cheap shots, if you don't like it, you don't need to insult my design, I don't see anybody out there contributing to the dead CL like I have. If any of you were around, you should have voiced your opinions back when I started the production and design of the kit here on AZ 3 years AFTER the car was discontinued. And no it wasn't to my benefit, because the pricing was marked to break even and I could have easily (and should have) chosen a late model Honda or Acura to make a kit for.

I've been around since 2001 withe 2 different CLs and I may be the longest supporter of the CL, so I don't appreciate the bashing. Guess what, I'll probably keep the car for another 10 years too while you guys switch over to other cars.

All the OG members said this would happen, that the CL crowd would change.
So it was my mistake to listen to everybody to make the kit we made, and now I have to listen to this, please.

 

BTW, I see a few other well respected manufacturers making more exaggerated fron lips for exotic cars without harsh criticism:

first of all i own a TL and if you would of made an oem style Lip kit for us you would of made A LOT more money than with this body kit imho

second of all, not everyone is going to like your product, no need to get offended. there are more ppl in this thread that liked your kit than disliked it.

 

Ron your kit looks great and is pure quality, no other production kit like yours compares.

I was truly just expressing my opinion that i think the lip is a little too big. I'm not going to lie to you, that's what i still think but that by no means, means i don't like it, i love your kit either way and plus it's only my opinion, and my opinion doesn't mean it's correct to anyone else but myself.

I don't like how CL's have such a high windshield but it is still one of my favorate looking cars anyone. The same applies to your kit, nothing will keep it from looking as good as it does.
