sorry again my scanner blows moose balls... but here they are white (day) and green and blue at night.... very hard to get good pics of these without a digital camera to see how much light you need to adjust before developing.

ok to answer the questions:

hey--how did you take that picture so FAST???
i just happened to have it here and already scanned.

rmstoico--how many miles you got, and how's the car holding up--any acura problems you can tell us 'newbies' about???
i am an outside account executive for NEXTEL so i travel alot. i bought it at 36k 2 months ago and now it has 45k. i am getting a bad squeeking in the pass. rear (brakes i think) but they are do for a little work, so no i am not really having any problems with it! *knock knock*

hey, where you get the white gauges? does teh RPM match up
got the gauges from an undisclosed source of which i will not reveal. GET THIS... go to a retailer and see how much you pay for them. the cheapest i have seen was $99, and i have even seen them go for a cool $125. you want them email me at rmstoico@hotmail.com and i will charge you a measly $65. everything matches. you will NEVER find white gauges for the first gen acura cl anywhere, but here's a helpful hint if you can figure it out: Another Car's Compatibility Offers Reliable Dependency

GET IT??? btw, thanks for the compliments!

LOL That was funny...
Nice ride rmstoico...Do you have your cl dropped any? Doesn't really look like it...are you planning on springs?

CLpower: 94-97 Accord fit our cars, not the 4cyl. ones though. You can always check out NrAuto.com They are expensive so you really shouldn't buy from them unless you really want to, but they have a lot of gauges.

the only ones i have seen that fit, the RPM's redline doesn't match up. AND WTF? 65$ for paper white gauges? to much for me to spend, damn i wish the shop didn't burn down

clpower: no, the redline does match, everything matches, except the numbers are not the same style of font as the numbers that are on the factory gauges.

also, they arent paper white, they are indiglo white, so they have a "clear coat shine" to them, and at night they are VERY bright, it is almost impossible to drive with them cranked all the way up.

Nice ride rmstoico...Do you have your cl dropped any? Doesn't really look like it...are you planning on springs?
i am dropping it, but no way in hell am i using springs. i am getting those new coil over kits that doesnt kill your factory ride. im looking at a few brands now, but will be unsure until the income tax check comes.

I got some for around $65 off groubbuycenter for a 97 Accord and everything matches up. The only problem i had was the screw holes were alittle off so i just made them alittle bigger.

eibach springs won't kill your ride at all. And what kind of coilovers are you looking for? Better not be getting ground controls/vis/skunkworks etc. Your ride will be shittier then ever. And as far as true coilovers go. I rode on apex'i's for awhile. I prefer my eibach tokico set up a little better. Except i wish they were about .5 inch lower

clpower, really? see i dont really like the eibach's. i have ridden in 2 cars with eibach springs and i didn like them. let me ask you a question. the tokico coil overs, are they made by eibach? did you have the springs or the coil over kit? how does that ride? cuz i was looking at them, but there are 15 different brands and i have no experience with them. im looking at import tuner now and i see tanabe, sprint, skunk, intrax, weapon r, maxspeed, tuned by matrix, blah blah blah. what do you recommend? i money is not an issue, but i would like to stay around 6-700 bucks. what is the best and smoothest coil over kit i can get? thanks for the help clpower!

btw, that noise i mentioned a few posts above, was just the squeaker on the inner brake pad. thank god, i get paranoid when i hear squeaking and i dont know what it is.

you didn't like the eibachs? what didn't you like about them? I'm eibach for life now and swear by them.

STAY AWAY FROM THE CHEAP SLEEVE COILOVERS ie: ground controls, weapon R's, skunk, etc. If you want true coilovers (adjustable spring w/ shocks you'll be looking at around 1000$-2500$) In my opinion, I would go w/ the eibach pro-kit w/ koni adjustable shocks. You can adjust the stiffness of the ride and if i believe correctly you can also adjust the height between 3 different settings. This combo should set you right at your price range.

the reasoning i say stay away from the sleeve coilovers, is they crack, and put ALOT of stress on your suspension. I've seen it happen to many cars including mine. It just doesn't ride the same anymore.

so stay away from these:

and if you want true coilovers look into these:

by "sleeve" you mean the kits that just come with springs and that thing you screw up or down to adjust height. right?

and by complete kit you mean the spring, the adjuster thingamajigger that goes up or down, AND the shocks that go up the inside of the spring. right?

do the first gen cl's have shocks all the way around? my last car had 2 shocks and 2 struts.

clpower, thanks for the help man, and i apologize for my ignorance in the suspension area. ive been installing competition audio systems for many years, so you can ask me anything you want about car audio, but i have never touched a suspension. but i am learning.

so does that eibach kit come with the koni shocks or are they separate? i am looking to buy everything all at once in one kit if i can. thanks again!
