Pic of fenderwell trim?

After looking at AHMotor's website of Acura parts (AHMotor Acura Parts)), I noticed the picture of the Fenderwell Trim. I'm wondering if anyone on the board has a picture of their car w/ the trim attached?

Can you paste a pic or a link to the pic?

Thanks,
-Rob M.

but i think u will not see a big difference..it just protect the fender wall..it is good to have them...i am thinking of buying them too..about $75~80 dollars.. but not sure it is easy installation or not.... i did install my rear mug guard myself.

i installed the fenderwell trim, and it's not that bad...u just have to b patient, cuz it's a bit tricky...BE CAREFUL not to scratch the paint with the aluminum strips used to fasten the trim to the fender.

Ok lets try the pics again?

Btw, the install is pretty simple. You DO need a rubber mallet to bang in the strips that hold on the trim and a screw driver (forgot what kind) to remove some screws.

Good Luck
Rob

They are a good thing to have--they really do protect the lip of the fender from all sorts of flying debris over time. The install is simple--I did a friend's CL in 15-20minutes.

Al uminum--I forgot how whimpy the stock rubber looked until I saw you massive pics--Is that life-sized?

heh heh, life sized? Heavens no. Thats why I apologized about bandwidth. They are actually bigger than life sized. That is why when the stock rubber finally goes (if it ever does...geez) I plan on getting 285/75/17 to make the wheel well gap tighten up some. :p

Btw, one serious concern is road noise. The stock rubber is very quiet but can others here comment on whether their fatermarket tires are quieter or noisier?

Thanks
Rob

My bro-in-law put the same type of fender trim on his Prelude and over time, water will sit inside the trim and slowly rust at your fender...just my .02 worth.

Now thats interesting. Yup that might happen even though one needs a mallet to bang the trim on. Reason being the trim is fits very very snug n` tight onto the fender lip. I'd think that water couldn't get in between but water will eventually get anywhere it can. Thanks man because thats the only reason to take it off. (and not acura_service's "enlightening" comment)
