i dont like the wheel design at all. looks too plastic-ish imho. the keys are awesome looking although i believe it comes only with the MDX.

Both of these .. the steering wheel and the fob, are from the 2002 TL-S. If your dealership sells the TL-S '02, its got these. Look at some other posts for more info on this ..

The TL-S comes with a trim for the steering wheel as an option, in either black or brown wood. However the part # is not the same as the part # for the '01 CL and hence the dealerships will not install it for you. However, they will sell it and the installation is very easy (or so I've heard).

Price ranges from $399-500 for the steering wheel and about $50 for the fob

astro: ahmotor.com should have the wheel for $399 u.s. but you gotta call, its not on the site, i recall reading that they have it for sure though on the TL forum.

if you build your own TL-S at acura.com the wheel is Estimated Installed MSRP: $534* u.s.

yuppieCL: those keys belong to a TL-S..so i guess its just the MDX and TL-S

 

What about the airbag cover with the acura symbol on it...How much is just that???------ I dont like the "simulated wood" look, just the cover....

 

I called up 2 dealers on that issue. They said that they dont sell just the airbag cover. You have to buy the whole airbag! Which really bites.

 

very cool steering wheel and the remote..i have heard that remote costs about $40 a piece..and does it programmable to our cl-s?

it hasnt been 24 hours yet and you bought it..damn, you know what you want and you do it..not talk shit like others..good quality

i am still trying to get the damn spoiler that i have been saying i will get for almost a year now..but i keep on blowing money on weekends, and stuff.

astro, you should really check out the black wood dash kit..i have had it on for a while now, and i dont regret it one bit..it makes the car look much more luxuriuos..there is NO CHEESY look that i was afraid of..and it will go excellent with the wheel...if you wanna hook up and check mine out before the toronto meet thats cool with me.
