Performance Chips?

Found this on ebay, is it worth it? If not, do you guys know of any that are?

Don't waste your money.

If you looking for a little more pep.
Get a underdrive pulley.
Questionably best bang for the buck. Look for some cheaper pullys on ebay.

Are the ODX ones pulleys any better than the option racing ones? I can't see .3 pounds being worth more than double the cost.

Also, are those guys pretty easy to install? They don't look too bad.

ODX - $75 shipped
option racing - $25 shipped

It's not like there are moving parts on this thing.

Also, real quick, I ran against an 01 CLS yesterday. All I have to say is two words. Not close. I love my car!

hmm....$21 to gain 35hp and gain 8mpg....I highly suggest to pass on this.

several people have the option underdrive pulley. It's not an easy install since getting the crank pulley off is a beeeetch. You'll need a new belt too. Do a search, lots of info on this.

option racing pulley is fine. Made real well. I have pics of it someone around on my computer I can forward to you. I had it installed for 50K miles. Not a single problem.

Pulsing the starter is the absolute easiest way to get the crank pulley bold loose.

I got a stock CL-6. We should run, would like to see how my stock fares against your fully bolted auto. I'm from peel region too (brampton)
