do u notice that it seems like there less wheel gap in the back than in the front, i dont know why its like that.. the drop was suposed to be 1.7/1.5, maybe my springs settled weird

the cars o.e stance has about .5 inch more wheel well gap in the fron that the rear...if this ratio remained the same then it's lowered evenly...if theres a greater than .5 gap front to rear then like many other brands of springs not designed specifically for the CL you get more than advertised drop in the rear...for example...my H&R o.e.sprots advertise .75 front and .50 rear when in acctuallity they are 1.0/1.4

Yeah, but wtf wants to spend $1k just to get the ride height to look right. :o
I lowered my taurus for $80 (new springs) and it sits perfectly, even with a heavy ass box in the trunk. :P

i took a look at the cl today before i headed to school. my rear sits a bit higher than the front. the spring probably havent settled in since there arent any backseats and heavy loads to weigh it down.

what the hell exactly do aftermarket shocks do? Like what is dampening and such? I learned my mistake of lowering my previous car on springs but stock shocks, and i'll never do it again. The ride was SOOOOOO bouncy, I hated it. I want a good solid ride that would bounce around, so i'd have to get aftermarket shocks right? Are the koni yellows the best way to go? Btw, how much would it cost to get springs/shocks installed?
