people with comptech headers
it "looks" like mine were when I bought them (for 450cad cash).
I have logos on the front header and the downpipe pointing towards the passenger side. I do not have one on the rear.
Do the flanges use 2.5" O-ring gaskets?
mine do.
that's a good way to tell also if they are legit.
I don't think comptech ever made them for the flat gaskets.

If I'm not mistaken, Comptech only made headers for the 6sp (which also happens to fit the autos). One of the primaries has a bend in it to clear the rear motor mount on the 6sp, like this.
Those are auto headers, won't fit a 6sp. That isn't a XS header either. XS were a copy of Comptech and has the bend.

like someone else said comptech used to make them for auto only and those didnt have the bend. They later changed it and started making them with the bend that fit both auto and manual. I wouldn't say they are not comptech just solely by the bend.
Forget about the bend. Some of the Comptechs did not have it and those produced after the 6MT CLS came out have it.
What gives them away is the weld at 90degrees where the pipe on the Y-pipe from the rear header makes the 180 degree turn. No compech header ever produced had this weld. the comptechs make the 180 degree turn with no additional welds.

True they were less then $100 shipped but they haven't been available for months now and may never be again. I sold a new pair for $200.
