passenger window won't go down...any ideas?

I took it to the dealer and they checked the motor out, they said it was fine. They said it was a short somewhere in the car but they would charge to fix it because I have aftermarket electronics all over the car.

I checked the fuses and thats not the problem.

Anyone have any ideas what to check next? What would short out that would stop the window from working?

Not really sure what to suggest but ... is there a limit switch somewhere that might be faulty? The window thinks it's down when it's up. Loose connections are usually a good place to start, maybe some corrosion. I'd check the window switch connections and the wiring to the window motor. Good luck.

Try another dealer. It's very rare that a second gen has a non-operating window...BUT when it does happen it's almost always the regulator (motor) or the fuse. I have a feeling they didn't even look at the car. Besides...where is your electronics. If they (electronics) don't tap into any wires that control the window, then it does NOT void the warranty.
