i don't know if it's just my car, but my passenger side seat doesn't always move forward when you pull the lever up...

*imagine having someone in the backseat, when the passenger up front gets out and pulls the lever up (to make the seat slide forward) the seat doesn't always slide forward...sometimes (too many times)...the back part of the seat comes down, but the seat doesn't slide forward...*

the seat is never positioned all the way forward, so i don't see no reason why it doesn't "automatically" slide forward when the lever's pulled up...???...maybe there's some kind of sensor loose or something (the passenger seatbelt doesn't retract either, gettin that fixed next monday)

 

in order for it to work the shifter has to be in park so if your just letting someone out of the back and not parking you have to move the shifter to Park then have them lift the lever up

also, it might be my imagination, but my drivers seat stops moving when I sit down on it.

 

no your not imagining anything, when the seats moving like after you just let someone get in the back and you jump in the seat before its completely moved back it will stop when ever you sit down

 

I have the exact same problem sometimes. Even when the car is in park or completly off.

 

mine does it too, but it slides forward until it crushes me or i hit the back button, why is this
