Can someone indicate if the following parts are accurate for the 3.6 Build.

Or are the connecting rods from the 3.5 from the RL? all the motor build threads never gave a clear indication on which connecting rods were used.

 

08 MDX crank, bearings, etc.... should be RL Rods if i'm not mistaken... NVA will have your anwser.

 

Yea, I told you in the PM it was RL rods. I wasn't sure what model the crank came out of, but I dont think the 3.7l crank is any different between the models.

 

On the other site veeee six peeee someone building a 3.6 said they were using the 3.7 rods. Just want a certain answer.

Theres no such thing as a 3.6 crank and rods.

And I clearly see the parts listed above in the parts needed section in his main post.

 

whoops... I meant 3.7 Rods not 3.5 rods.

 

So I'm assuming your build was the same Civic? J37 Crank and Rods?

 

Hmmmmm. Now you've got me wondering. I was pretty sure the rods were from the 3.5 in the 05 RL. Let me check with Paul. Ill let you know.
