Hi guys, I just did my rear brake pads and rotors. The mechanic said after using the parking brake a few times it should come up and after pumping on it like a million times I discovered it's just not going to work. Anybody know what the problem may be? Anything helps thanks.

2nd question. My hood and trunk no longer stay open by itself. Is that something I can do myself?
