painting engine cover

painting engine cover

i want to paint my engine cover to match my intake but does anyone know if i need heat resistant paint or can i just use regular spray? and if anyone has done this i wanna see some piucture to get an idea... thanksss!!!

i painted mind black to mach... but i spraied it with car paint and baked it. you should be able to use a spray can.

There is no need for heat paint. Prep the cover good by degreasing it and scuffing it up with a scuff pad, then use some high build primer, sand it smooth and paint. It will be smooth..
