Painted my Exhaust Y Pipe ....

Total cost under 15 dollar.
Materials
Hot temp black grill paint 9 dollar

Brush 1.50
Roller bed,
Hydro Jack
Rubber gloves

As you can see by the time stamp the entire process took less than 10 minutes.

but after I was done, I tried to resuse the brush next time so i tried cleaning it out. BAD MISTAKE. People throw it away.
well i took the brush down to my luandry room and in the sink poured hot water on it. BAD MISTAKE AGAIN.
all the black shit comes off and STICKS to the sink. OMG!!! im fooken dead.
I start to pour everything in the sink to clean, it, cheer, tide, chlorox, alchol, you name it. but the sink just got worse. I then saw a brush kind of thing so started scurbbing and OMG!! the brush turned black too. at this point i threw the brush away and started scrubbing. I hear my mom come downstairs, I run out of the laundry room and come sit down on my computer.

let me tel you, I was just waiting for my mom to yell at me and kick my ass.hehe

I had to promised her I'd paint it white for her and take her shopping next week. whewww

Well, if anyone in md/va/dc wants to borrow the paint and stuff let me know. All you have to do is just buy a new brush.

LOL.

Joe.. you might want to try some paint thinner.... I would watch out on painting it white right away... if the black paint isnt fully dry... it will smear and mix... NOT good

I still dont understand why you didnt just use a spray can :p Silly JOE!

I did that the day I bought my CLS. MUCH easier to just buy a can of black high temp. spray paint and do the entire rear system.

JZ, if ya want you can use the paint after jrock. he's next on the list for the black paint. i think we can do ike 40 cars w/ this 1 can of paint. i only had to dip the brush 3 times.

and imfamuz, im actually coming to edgewater NJ tommrow. I plan on meeting eclipse and hopefully some other NY/NJ members.
