I've been wanting to paint my engine cover & battery cover but I dont know what color I wanna do. I have an '03 CL-S Anthricite grey IDK if I wanna go body color, a red to match the brake calipers, a custom metallic or candy color, or a metallic or flat silver to go with the aluminum trim. Does anyone have any pics of finished engine covers and or any tips?

 

I personally would not do red. That just shouts out rice in my opinion. Either go body color, or do it in black

 

Go for a color match. And DIY. No need to pay a shop for something like this.
Just painted my battery cover and front plastic thing (whatever it's called)

 

I spluged on OEM color-matched paint and I thought it was a waste...

Didn't come out as good as I hoped so if I would have done it again I would have taken it to a shop.
