I cleared my corners the other day and now I'm looking to get rid of that damn fugly orange bulb. I want to stay "legal" so I would like it to still flash orange but look silver. I've heard of people spray painting their bulbs. Have any of you tried this? Should I just go to a performance shop and buy them instead?

Does that mean those Hyper-white bulbs are legal?? They appear to flash white but are blue during the day when off.Originally posted by danny25

bulbs arn't that expensive.... why go through all the hassle in buying the can and spraying it... when you can buy yourself a new pair and pop them in.....Polarg came out with silver/chromo bulbs but flashes orange, white, blue or red..

I think it's legal for orange or white in the front, and orange or red in the back. But that's just what I've heard, never found out officially.Originally posted by Seattle Cl-S

I know they aren't expensive and I'm a lazy-ass so I'll probably just buy them.Originally posted by 23wt

http://www.4apc.net
Web site that has a Titanium line of bulbs that look silver off but orange when on
Part# 50.4129.B
Replacement for the stock #1157 dual element turn signal bulb.
Found them at a local rice shop and had to have them. Paid way too much $$. After I had bought them I turned the package over and saw their web site address. From that site they will link you one of their distributor’s site. Found them as cheep as $6.99 on-line. They look absolutely great in our cleared lights during the day and they do show orange quite well when on. Same rating as #1157: 12V 27W
