Painted calipers on Black CL-s

Hey,

I'm wanting to spray paint my calipers with high temp caliper paint, but not sure what color. Any black cl owners out there that have painted their calipers? If so what color? I painted my yellow protege 5 red before cuz red+ yellow looks nice, but not sure on a black car.. red again? or just black? Any input would be nice.

Black - sorry no pics, but mine are black. Calipers on our cars not all that great looking. Black looks nice and never gets dirty.

YUP.....Our calipers are UGLY.
If you have nice wheels, paint them BLACK so they don’t show up.

i painted them red.... and then proceeded to repaint them black.

the red looks cool for like 5 seconds while their clean... but it looks ridiculous on the rear calipers that are ugly as sin.

go black and never go back

I painted my silver / gray i think it looks hot... I compliments the stock wheels very well and doesn't look ricey.

If you don't want you calipers to show paint them black...

I liked the silver look... Mr Hyde on the A-TL forum has pics up...

thats to bad I wanted to paint mine red,
I think the front calipers look good, maybe not the back

every time you take your wheels off do you re align them?
do you take the calipers off when you paint them?

You don't really have to, unless your going to have them powder coated, or going to take them off for some other reason other than just painting.
I am debating on whether to paint mine silver or black. A good brake caliper paint with great gloss is the G2 Brake caliper paint system.

Go with Black. Like everyone said our calipers are nothing to show off. Black looks clean and makes them not stand out much.
