Paint it Red...

Hi .................again.....

Ok..this may sound a bit strange but Im hoping someone can help...on this forum I saw an under-the-hood photo of a CL-S...that had the plastic engine/intake cover/piece painted ...red..to match the red of the 3.2 V-TECH 24V on the valve covers...I want to do the same thing to my '02 CL-S..but for the life of me ..I cant find that thread or that photo!!!..I want to contact that CL-S owner here on the forum to find out how he painted it...the paint jused...the exact color used..brand name of paint etc etc..can anyone help me out???...Thank You!!!

i havent seen the red one but other members on here have done the same thing. if you just wanbt a contact go to photos and go to sundance gold. i know theres a guy on there with mad shit done airbags etc and he has his cover painted. just contact him and ask him instead if u cant find the red guy. im guessing a small container of touch up stock paint( i have one for dings, and maybe a 50$ spray gun from autozone, i have no idea though)

good luck, i like that shit too i was thinking of doing the same thing

That would have been me, however I bought the car this way... Its professionally painted.

I'll go to a local paint shop and see if they can match it up to something close. It will be a little later on today or this week..

Just get some kind of intake piping thats 6 inches or so long (maybe a little longer) and put it in. You can go to autozone and get the plastic "custom" intake piping for like $10 and use that...
