Ok kinda of two questions here probably going to paint my car in the next month or so, just curious about the mud flaps if I should paint them and leave them on, leave them on black the way they are, or just take them off. Also any suggestions where to get it painted I live in S. Florida. Thanks.

what color are you going to go with? I'de go Black or a real dark blue color with a bunch of flake.
I think the mudflaps look really good painted. There is a white CL on here with it done. My only concern would be the paints durability....I know my mud flaps take a beating since my neighborhood is under construction and so are a lot of roads around me

I would take them god aweful mudflaps off!! In my opinion they make the car look off from its apperance
As for the color I would go with a light color, since u live in FL , and it rarely cools off.

I'd say get rid of 'em. They're flexible so painting them isn't an easy task. If you get a chance to, ask the paint shop if Bulldog would work. It helps paint adhere to plastics.

to add: -- i havent had any severe problems with cracking of the paint to date -
To be more specific, i actually took one of the mud flaps off to see how resilient they were to cracking... Dumb, maybe, but i needed to know how much stress i couldnt put on them. They werent extremely flexible, however they are flexible enough not to crack under careful (i use the word careful loosely as with or without the flaps i would drive a lowered car cautiously) driving...
The only problem you may have is (depending on what color you do go with, dark blue shouldnt be bad at all, but as u can guess white is horrible) they will get extremely dirty and chip on the inside. I anticipated this and asked my painter to leave the insides black, but unfortunately he must not have been listening too close when i said that. Now i just need to make sure to wash them well when i wash the car. Plan to one day take them off and spray some sort of black all weather coating inside.
