Has anyone on this board noted a paint defect on there bumpers near to the wheel well. Where you can see the black plastic vein through the paint. There is a plastic ridge on the bumper prior to the exact wheel well. My car is a 2001 CL-S white and it is pretty noticeable when close to the car. Is this problem normal with the light tone colors and will Acura cover this problem under warranty.

 

I think I may know what you are talking about. When I bought my car, I noticed that the paint looked faded or more of a cream color. This was only in a small area where the rear bumber meets the rear quarter panel by the rear wheel well (Whole lotta rears!!!).

I looked at all the other cars on the lot, and they all had it. I asked them to try and buff it out and they got a little.

Other than that, I have not asked any further.
