Pads that cause the least Brake Dust
I recently changed out my front rotors with Brembo rotors w/ Brembo Semi-Metallic as they didn't have Ceramics at the place I got them through... The amount of brake dust was insane, turning my wheels almost black within a week. I changed them out with some Hawk Ceramics.... Same problem. Who makes a really good pad that doesn't cause a build up of brake dust?

I'm wondering if the slotted rotors are causing an excessive amount of dust or if it's just the pads. I had the same Brembo set up on my last car, just blanks rather than slotted, and didn't experience this much dust.

I have ebc redstuff pads with very little dust. I use zaino polish and clear seal on both outside and inside of my wheels. This keeps anything from sticking and I wash them once every 1-2 weeks.
btw I have slotted rotors too

What does everyone know about the Akebono ceramic pads. I need front a rear pads as well and I am trying to decide between Akebono and the red stuff pads. I get the Akebono at a discounted price so there is about a $100 difference between the sets. Let me know what everyone suggests

If I had to guess, the slots create more dust because of their cutting action. Plus you dont want anything that has no dust because that means its a hard compound and it cuts down on your stopping distance and into your rotors.
Hmm I wonder if race pads are good for your application then, since they need to heat up to work well.
