Yesterday, in a seperate thread, I was having a rough and hard time from Paragon Acura, NY, about a Radio code which I'd lost and they wanted to charge me $98 to take out the radio and retrieve the serail #. And these are the same guys who sold me the car brand new, but the sales people forgot to put/wirte the codes in my records.
Well - I've been going to PAA ever since - on the strong recommendation from acura-cl members. Called them up today. In less than 30 seconds they gave me the code.

Yup.. they rock. That's why I drive down there from upper Westchester County anytime I need any service done.... b/c they're amazing

 

What did you have to give them to get the code?

 

Once you get service from them they look you up by your telephone number. But of course I guess they'll have your VIN and registration numbers too.

Wow - I had to give that same code to my acura dealer yesterday ( had minor service done and they forgot to program the radio, and this is not the original radio--)

Anyway, All you do is remove the pass. side trim piece and there is a little white sticker on the radio that has the s/n...Takes about 35 seconds to take it off/write the number/and put it on.

The fact that a dealer would try and charge $98 is straight our robbery and unprofessional

BTW i've heard many a bad story about Paragon Acura.

 

This is why I drive like an hour and a half PAST the dealership that I bought my car from to get it serviced there

 

PAA comes through once again! I am going there next week for service.
