For those that have installed the p2r spacer with other aftermarket CAI other than the p2r intake, I would like to know what p2r package to buy and the advantages of one over the other.

Why do we need a intake manifold thermal gasket ??

The Thermal Intake Manifold Gasket will keep your intake manifold cooler, and its not a complicated install.

For the install you will need to remove throttle body anyways, might as well take it a bit further and install the intake manifold gasket also. While your at at you can clean the manifold and all the gunk around your egr port. This by itself is a good thing to do, made my car run much better.

Just got my P2R IMG, TB Spacer, TB Gaskets, and intake from Excelerate. Any suggestions for what I should use to clean my TB and Intake manifold while I have everything apart?

I have had good success using Valvoline Syn Power TB & IM cleaner, in combination with Sea Foam Deep Creep (pretty much sea foam in a spray can) & an old tooth brush.

I used the Berryman B-12 carb and choke cleaner.(autozone etc.) Worked really well, just used some paper towels and wiped it down until clean. Didn't have a toothbrush handy but that probly woulda worked better. Anyway good luck with your install if you need any help with the p2r stuff hit me up on pm.
