if you're going that route make sure you are getting a Stainless Steel pipe made and not that 'aluminized' crap that the corner exhaust shops usually work with.

My exhaust will be ran with a stainless "test pipe" but aluminized cat back to the muffler. I just coat the piping with some flat rustoleum. If I need to reweld/replace it in a few years, then oh well. I'm going to try and only have 2 bends if possible for highest flow rather than buying pieces of SS that has to be welded 30x to get the corners right. Besides, my full race setup on a previous car ran that stuff and it lasted 3 years before selling the car. It's not that bad, just crush bent and if the bends are minimal, it's not that big of a deal.

I would get stainless and avoid the crush bends. Even if you coat it on the outside what is going to stop it from rusting on the inside then out.

I ordered my test pipe direct from p2r and was later informed they are no longer making them so they refunded my money.

Did they tell you why they are no longer carrying them? Sounds kinda fishy on their end...

If people want it and it provides gains I don't see why any business would remove it from their line up.

It was discontinued a while ago. If there's not enough demand, there not going to keep producing them. It's just business.

Making those flanges are expensive. They are not off the shelf parts.

Yes I think there wasn't enough demand and also everybody goes crazy when changing something that will effect your ability to pass emissions tests.
