P2R Intake manifold Gasket, Use with OEM? Outlaw?

So are you supposed to use the OEM metal gasket with the P2R thermal one? Also, i want to get the outlaw spacer, will the spacer work with the Thermal gasket and the P2R plenums?

Set ups, does it go

P2R-Manifold
Metal gasket-P2R-Manifold?
Metal gasket-Outlaw-P2R-Manifold?

So even with an outlaw spacer, only use the P2R gasket and spacer?

You can use the metal gasket as well if you want, but you'll need two, one for each side.

No im talking about intake manifold spacer. I have the P2R Spacer and thermal gaskets on the TB. I also have the plenums with a thermo gasket, but im getting my valves adjusted soon so i was thinking about getting the Outlaw intake manifold spacer. So if i got the intake manifold spacer would the correct sequence be

Metal gasket-Outlaw spacer-P2R thermal Gasket-Manifold?

Or do you leave the metal gasket out completely? Is there hood spacing issues with both installed?

^ that sounds right. The outlaw is a spacer and the P2R is just a gasket that doesn't transfer heat.

ur right silvaccord

u could get that. and then get 2 intake manifold gaskets from p2r thus creating ur own spacer with super thermal blocking capabilities.

and if for some reason it doesn't fit to ur likings u have plenty of options since it is 3 pieces.

I doubt u'd have clearance issue though unless u got p2r plenums like me

Outlaw spacers, then the P2R plenums on top of that.
Should be.....
Outlaw gasket, outlaw spacer, outlaw gasket, intake manifold with P2R Plenums.
No others gaskets needed.
If you try you'll run into the hood. Mine just barely clears with the spacers & plenum. Dents the hood lining.

lol honestly I cannot see u being able to fit all of those under the plenums without having to make some room somehow.
They stick far enough out of the car as it is with just a p2r thermal gasket (very noticeable difference compared to the oem plenums if u look from the side of the car)

but it'd be interesting to see what's the most that u can fit.

let us know how she goes..

So do you have the outlaw kit with the plenums? They all for sure fit? Ive already trimmed my hood liner so it doesnt hit. I dont want to have to use washers to raise my hood, because that looks stupid lol.

It also looks like the kit only comes with one extra gasket to put on top of the intake manifold spacer, and you reuse the oem metal one for below the spacer?

Maybe that was it. I thought outlaw gave you 2 gaskets.
I'll snap a few pics tonight. The setup as I said barley clears with the plenums.
I've had the setup for over 2 years.

Here are 2 pics. You can see the hood lining wear spots as well as the left & right front corners of the Plenums.

U don't want to notch out holes in the hood so it doesn't hit?

No mdx spacer. And you hitting like that .
Wow those plenums must big huge since your getting hitting on the left side.
I was only hitting in the center beam and the map sensor is cutting threw the pad with mdx spacer and 2 thremo's on the clp manifold.
Are the outlaw gaskets thicker than p2r's ?
