P2R EGR Block Off
P2R EGR Block Off
Would this be beneficial to us? Has anyone done it? Also, would
it not reduce gas mileage by a very slight bit?
Any answers would be appreciated, I did a search on google and it seems
it seems an EGR robs you of minimal amounts of power. More importantly,
if you want to tune your car (like I am about to) its better to block the exhaust
gases from recirculating into the intake.

visuelz - I don't think it would die, but I do think that we would throw a code and get a CEL.
People with other cars get like an engine management system like K-pro to adjust the air/fuel mixture and the light goes away. I am wondering if the same would happen with an Apexi neo. I am not certain, since it is not an engine management system.

One more thing I read and I am not sure if it applies to us also. I read that this will prevent exhaust gases recriculating into the intake manifold and thus preventing the manifold from getting dirty and clogged up. Some also say it is just good for your engine to prevent dirty exhaust gases from going back in the car, it is just something the EPA requires.
