OZ Superleggera?

What do you guys think of the 18" OZ Superleggera wheels on a Silver CL-S lowered with comptech springs? They look similar to the BLITZ wheel, but much less.

I was actually thinking about getting those also. They look sharp. What tires were you thinking about? I was also wondering if they will rub with the drop that the comptech's give you?

you shouldn't rub since the 18" wheel comes in a 7" width with a 45 offset.

The 18" SL's I saw are 18x8 and have a 50mm offset. The ones I have on my Subaru are 17x7 and ET48, although I know they make those in a lower offset as well.

45 offset might be pushing it, but I'm not 100% sure either. I wanted to get 19" Axis Se7en's that had 45 and I heard we had to roll the fenders a bit. I'm not a wheel and tire person myself, so I'm not sure if the 18 or 19 size would make a difference.

remember, offset is related to rim width? a 45 might not cut it with an 8" wide rim, but it should be more than sufficient with a 7" wide rim. there is a difference of 1" total, which should be almost split evenly among the two halves...er, one-half inch more clearance on both sides of a (18)x7 rim vs a (18)x8 rim.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I was only looking for 5x100 rims that fit a Subaru... not sure what other SL's exist.

The Tire Rack just recently got a bunch of the gold and light anthracite SL's, so you guys may wanna give em a call.
