Oxygen Sensor

Does anyone know the torque spec for the oxygen sensor????????????????????????????????????????

just make sure you put on anti-seize on the threads and tighten till it stops turning

also it will be hard to actually torque them because u need to use an open ended wrench to get it off. there is no way you can use a socket.

I saw the mech use a speical socekt it is like a long socket but has 30% cut... it's for air-powered wrench... When I saw it I said this was designed for the Oxygen Sensor.. fits perfectly like a glove

Where can you buy a new sensor at when you put in a test pipe???

why do u need a new sensor? i think they run like over $100 at the dealership

Yeah those little bastards are expensive. I don't know what the dealership charges for them, but Autozone charges like $150 for a Bosch one. I remember when I replaced the O2 sensor on my previous vehicle (92 Cherokee), which was ~$50...and I thought that was expensive.
