Owners of VAFCII (Step in)
Hey guys im purchasing some mods for my car and planning to get a VAFCII how effective is it and does it yield more power when tuned correctly?

i recently purchased a vafcii...well i love it, other will tell you its not worth it and to save your money...i just think its a cool thing to have lol...as far as being effective, i've read its something like 5hp...mine is installed but still not tuned, im getting it tuned this week..so i haven't really felt the good of it yet

Ye, i dont see me spending $250 on a part that does so little, is lowering the Vtec engagement beneficial?

Its not beneficial at all. Acura put the vtech to engage at a certain RPM for a reason, because it was the optimal setup.

well 10hp isn't bad, i just hope you didn't pay full price for it. i would assume you didn't though. $650 for 10hp wasn't a good deal. $250 would be though, depending on how much cash you had to burn.

it gives you a steady air/fuel ratio a cross the board. I had the orignal vafc and got 5 hp sold it bought ulitra emangement was going to S/C it ,but changed my mind,now just installed the neo but didnt have time to dyno it, next thurs I will let you guys known what HP & Torque gain was.
