no, nothing you shuold be worried about. Only you'll be able to tell the diff.

unless of course you get OBX then who knows what will happen......

I have the OBX and there is no real sound difference (with just the headers). Once in a while you get the resonance... but it blends in with my exhaust, so I really never hear it...it just sounds mean all the way up the RPM band . I have an intake and exhaust as well, so overall the car sounds different anyway. FYI, since there are so many haters figured I'd add this for you: I've had them installed for about 8 months through this nasty winter we had in NY with zero problems. They look and work as new as day one.

My comptechs I did notice a little deeper sound when I was on it, but at idle, or regular driving it wasn't that different.

I couldn't tell. I had the CT headers and Icebox installed at the same time. Must of the sound difference I heard was from the Icebox. With both installed, they made a noticable improvement in performance.

With Headers you’ll want to be spending much more time above 5,000 RPM so in a sense you could say it makes the car louder.
And even more so if you have a CAI.

Headers be the best mod for our car under $1200 bucks. I had mine installed with the icebox and from what i've heard and from other people it does change the tone a bit deeper in the way the engine sounds.

But thats a good thing.

I saw something else funny, and here's the reason I bought the headers for my car (it performs so much better with the increased exhaust flow):

Get the headers, it will sound a bit different, the "tone" will change a bit. AT full throttle there has to be more outgoing flow (there is more HP being made). It sounds a tad smoother, but barely louder.

I had a Max too and was really happy with it.

You will come to appreciate the CLS with some tasty additions (headers, CAI, tires, sways, etc) -- it really transforms the car.

you'll hear a slight difference if u got exhaust allready...it'll get slightly deeper. If not then don't worry about it.

Mine had a hovering helicopter sound to me when I get on it. Now that may be an exaggerated statement but I mean it had a little more of a hum to it. Hard to describe but I love it! Except for the darn rattling when I accelerate, it's driving me crazy.

Hmmm...

When I had them put on, I did notice a change in tone. There very fact that the engine is making more HP means that there is a slight increase in exhaust output (volume) where there are HP/TQ gains.

The "merge" points are different on each bank, and that alone will make for a different "tone."

It's not really that noticeable -- as one would expect with a radical muffler system -- but there is a change in tonality and a slight change in volume.

Get it next to a car without headers one day and see if you don't notice...

IMO, the difference can only be heard close to the car...

AND

IMO, an intake will overwhelm the sound of the headers vs. stock at WOT.
