Question Owners with bad rearview mirror question
I'm trying to determine why the rearview mirror on my gf's CL went bad (the liquid inside the glass). She had the light sensor on the mirror covered by the school parking tag. Could that be the cause?

The liquid goes bad at random times.

It's simple replacement under warranty.

I don't think it has anything to do with hanging anything on it. It's just a bad design from the manufacture( not honda, I forget who makes them, some mirror company). just like our trannys. I wish it was covered under the warranty. The dearer said SOL.

rearview mirror broke and there was discoloration on 1/4 of the mirror. it was obviously broken and replaced at dealer under warranty at 40k miles. i never hang anything on it.

I don't think mine ever worked. It would help with all of the "i'm compensating for something" truck owners here in AZ.

theres nothing wrong with mine and i have the school parking permit hanging off the mirror for all of last school year and this year..no problems so far
