I was at the Dealer (Goodson, Dallas) yesterday getting an alignment after my springs were installed. So while waiting I counted 26 CL-S's for sale. This would have been great if I was still shopping. The market for our car must be slowing down. I'll bet you can get one for invoice now. Anyone else notice if their dealers have more cars than they know what to do with.

 

It's defidently the opposite here. Our dealer has 2 whites Type-S's and one goldish colored Premium, and that's it. It's pretty scarce here. Long list if you want particular colors. They get 3 or so a week here, but they're always already spoken for.

well, we all agree that tl's are selling like hotcakes...but i saw like 25 on a lot about 2 weeks ago; just 'cuz you see a lot on a lot doesn't mean that they aren't selling.

besides, car sales are down for most makes and models around this time anyway.

 

dealers for all manufacturers are slow right now. I heard that car buying is currently at an all-time low for the past 4 years.

I still hardly see any CL-S's around.
I dont think they are selling in the Toronto area AT ALL!!!!!!

I see a CL once maybe twice a week if i am lucky. (this doesnt include the acura dealership i drive by everyday)

Though i am glad, i want to be the only one with this car, people still stare and wonder what it is.

 

When I got mine on Dec. 28,2000, the dealer had 20-25 CL's. I had to order mine because I wanted silver. Lucky for me I picked the right time to buy, I only paid $100 over invoice. Butts Acura in Monterey CA wanted $1500 over invoice, but I was able to get Steven Creek Acura in San Jose to sell it to me for $100. They sales guys said even though car sales had slipped around xmas, the TL's and CL's were still selling.
