Congrats, and welcome. The mods will come. Icebox is a good start, followed by some springs, wheels, headers....List is too long.
Enjoy.

Good choice man. The PDG CL is a rare sight to see, enjoy it.

Also if your last car made 400whp I have a feeling you won't be stopping at the icebox.

there is a dyno chart of the car at about 16psi, it was tuned to 19 on pump gas and i had it set to 17psi for daily driving.. i probably wont stop at the icebox but im definatly gonna start saving money to buy a house soon and just have a car i can drive normally with out being watched by the cops..

great choice man!!! my friend has a turbo gsr eg too!!!! he is putting out at about ~300whp with golden eagle piston and rods, with 9:1 cr, and fmu's. he's ghetto rigging it for now. no ecu, fuel injectors, intank fuel pump, ic piping, so the only thing saving his motor right now are the internals.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the board. Also, I agree with Chap, the modding is in your blood and you won't be able to stop it.

hahaha thanks man.. you all are probably right.. wont be long till i come up saying im about turbo my cl-s... btw, does anyone make a turbo "kit" for the cl-s?? i know kits arent the best thing to do, its better to build your own kit but the aftermarket support for the 3.2 tl/cl isnt as great as it is for a civic...

Theres a gentleman named all-motor on this forum that has custom made a turbo kit for his cl. He was in turbo mag late last year. His cl is putting down 400+ at the wheels. He is the man to talk to if you are really serious. Welcome and have fun with the new car.

I'm surprised with 400whp you only hit 113 MPH. With 100hp less and with easily 1,000lbs more I hit 108 MPH in the CL-S. Turbo CL-S with 365whp hit 111 MPH.

TRACTION was my problem...

and i was running the car untuned using a vafc so it wasnt run at the 400whp that i ended up dynoing at when i installed and switched to the hondata system, thats in the car now..

if i keep the car, which i would really like to, i plan on getting it tuned to run on race gas and then the numbers will be much higher because the efficency of the turbo im using now is not even close to where it should be.. ill be running about 25psi and putting out well over 500whp god i love turbos...

do you mind to share anymore information on your current setup on the CL-S?? i noticed your from Montgomery MD, thats not far from me at all..

Yep I noticed you are from NoVA. We should hit up the track when it opens in March.

I'm running the Comptech supercharger with the high boost pulley (6.5-7.5psi depending on ambient temperature). Comptech headers and cat-back exhaust (stock cat). Mugen low-temp thermostat and fan switch.

It made 295whp and 243wtrq at 6.5psi in 70 degree ambient temperatures. I'm sure its making closer to 300-305 with these colder temps.

It's a 2002 so it has the automatic transmission.

My best time at the track is a 13.30 @ 107MPH. I've hit 108 MPH on two other occasions though. Best 60' time was a 2.000.
