omfg how in the HELL is 250HP so cheap!!!!.

we must have the cheapest/most reliable/powerful motor around for the $$$

i dunno if that's a good or bad thing.

If I did buy it I would tear it down and rebuild it and then drop it in

i would ask them for the vin of the car that it came out of, also for the engine's serial number

btw: i know there is a plate (with the vin of the car that it came out of) on the motor (i think it is on the back for some reason) that looks just like the vin plate that we have in our windshields, so ask for a picture of that too

different cam sensors (and crank) and such compareed to the 6- speed, so not quite a dirrect drop-in for a 6-speed, but still quite easy to convert it

that plate thing is on the trans. but there is the serial number of the engine stamped on the engine block. its above the front engine mount

yes i know the tranny has one too (and i think a serial number too), but i am pretty sure it is on the block too (i think around the vtec solenoid and oil pressure switch)

To answer your question OP, no, our cars arent stolen for a $300 motor.

Most of them are stolen for the $1200 6 speed transmission.

and the fact i think they only came in a 4 speed auto their entire life (nsx)
but they are similiar than you think, cause they are both transverse engines, but they were used on a completly different engine series, so different bell housing bolt patterns, they "might" have better ratios, but they are going to be expensive as f*** so kinda not worth it at all

Correct, they came with 4 speed autos for all 14 years of production. The 5MT was from 91-96, then the bumped capacity to 3.2l in 97 and gave it a 6MT.

The NSX motor is essentially a FWD motor (transverse), just mounted behind the seats.

But, the motor is completely different (C series vs J).
