The second generation product should be good, but if you change your mind within the 14 day evaluation period, expect problems getting a refund. I have been sending him contact information since his notice (March 1st) saying that he would return my money. I have yet to receive a response from him, although I managed to get him on the phone a few times just long enough to remind him. If I do not hear anything by the 15th, I'll post a thread asking if someone local to him can get me some answers. Good luck with your order.

Why didn't you receive your CAI yet? If some were availible for the Jersey-Meet, should those have been for you if you ordered in Feb?

And does Chris take the money upfront before shipping? I paid through Paypal, which is already a rip cause of the service charges -- hope he only collects when he ships.

it's April already!! how come some ppl didn't get their intake since they ordered intakes in Feb.
that's scary.....shit..i really want an intake now....hmm...should i just go with tim now??

As I said, he has not answered my email since March 1st. His product is a good value, but there are no CARB exemtion stickers available yet, which is why I returned the CAI. He takes good care of folks who are in his area, but has been unresponsive to me and others that are not within driving distance.

I am a California resident too, and waiting almost 1.5 months for a refund from Chris shows a LOT of patience! Plus, when I managed to get him on the phone, he would say "I forgot" or "I was swamped", or asked me to sent info to one of his many email aliases, which I did. It may take him awhile to fabricate product, but how hard is it for him to honor his promise to send me a check?? Sorry for the rant, and I ame glad you enjoy your CAI, but I am forced to disagree with you.

If you are also in CA, do you uninstall the CAI everytime you take your car in for service since it is not certified yet? Whats the deal on that?
