Someone’s nose in getting way too long.

I just talked to the corporate headquarters and asked if the Proxes 4 is considered to be a replacement for the T1S. Answer == NO!!!

I asked if Toyo was going to continue making the T1S. Answer: "The T1S is our top-of-the line street tire and we have no current plans to replace it..."

I talked a bit more and they said the Proxes 4 is for all-season use, the T1S is recommended for 3-season max-performance usage.

Tires designed for decent handling don't alway make good drag strip tires. In many cases, the all season stockers may do better.

Doesn't make sense as the T1-S is typically more expensive.

i got the hook up on tires...if these arent too sticky i can always buy some t1-s for the summer and keep the 4's for the winter...

i believe reg price on the mounted and balanced is between 550-625, so i am guessing 375 is prolly like 10-20% above cost

That's a real good deal - I bought 4 225/55/16s for my 1st Gen and paid around $525 OTD ($117/tire). I'm pretty happy with them so far.
