Opinions of Yokohama AVS ES100

I need new tires to replace the stock front tires on my 2001 CL Type S. Has anyone ever bought the Yokohama AVS ES100? Can anyone suggest alternatives?

I got Sumitomo+ - Z rated 360 treadwear. Quiet--great grip and 90 buck at tirerack. Sears carries them and sometimes matches the internet price if you take in the printout of the invoice to their store. Sears regular price is about 125 to 135. If they match the tirerack price get all 4 IMO. They make the car seem new again.

I read the owners' survey about the Sport 5000 from Tire Rack, these tires wear out pretty quickly I ended up buying the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S

agreed...with such an unevenly balanced car, changing just two tires could be very dangerous to the handling characteristics of the car.

did you know if you order the ES100s this month you get a free r/c porsche...

here's some info on the tire from other forums:

Chikai thank for the post I was wondering about them since These tires just came out about a month ago but so not to much feed back on them yet. Since They are AVS they'll probably be good tires and if you have stock rims they have a rim protector. I plan on buying these tires my self when the time comes. i think there a great choice especial for the $$$
