No. They only thing that will help is if you go to a larger single exhaust. You'll pick some torque on the low end which will help your 60' times.

 

Catless midpipes are a staple of Mustang performance. If it's well designed, I don't see why it would free up a few ponies up in the rpm band (where you are in when drag racing).

 

our power comes in vtec, i tend to think this pipe may free up some ponys in this range. i think it may be worth testing. that auction is closed. does anyone know where to get that pipe? i'm sure i could have one made if not.

 

Right but this probably won't result in faster track times because of the useable power. 1/4 we are in vtec only for first gear, second gear and half of third. NOW......if you were get the VAFC and lower the vtec setting this piece of hardware might help.
