onstar questions

i got a ticket today for no seatbelt and a speeding warning

can onstar show my speed at anytime and can u also show my belt was on?

Huh.

OnStar is a mobile telephone and a GPS locater, with links to car diagnostics. I don't think you're actually being tracked until you press the OnStar button.

I don't think the OnStar agreement includes their making an effort to defend petty citations.

To wear your seatbelt do this:

Insert metal tab into buckle.

I just don't get it. Wear your seatbelt. If your not going to do so, then don't speed or otherwise call attention to your driving. It's too easy of a citation for the police to enforce.

the problem was i had my belt on till he asked for my licence then i took it off, and thats why he gave me a ticket for no belt cause i wans't speeding

i always wear my belt

very, he was being a pain in the ass, made me late for work

so thats why i was wondering if onstar can see that stuff

Hmmm, maybe you should call... Onstar?


AS for the seatbelt 'charge' just tell it to the judge. Before I became a ticket receiving professional I would remove my belt before the officer came to window. Not anymore. I am sure to turn down the stereo, turn off the NAV, keep the seatbelt on and have all the information at the ready before they get to my car. I have received only warnings lately.
