Thanks! I wanted the lighter weight wheels to make the car faster. 18s are great but I didn't want to sacrifice the quality of the ride by going to a 225/40/18.

The lowered look is very sweet. I must say, they look nice with the use of your fender "gap cutters."

Argh -- I want low gaps, great ride

(Kinda reminds me of one of those old light beer commercials...)

Now, just remove the passenger and back seats and race at the strip when it is 50 degrees and dry out (j/k)

Thanks guys!

Red Rider, the entire package was a bit expensive but worth every penny. You'll love the Toyos. They're awesome!

Eric, I couldn't stand that 'SUV' look anymore!

EVA'S, Thanks!!

SD_surfer, I need brakes!! Hopefully AEM will come out w/some in the near future.

Ok, at first glace they look good. but then after lookin at them for a while, they just look a little to ghetto for my taste. i know they are supposed light in weight in all, but they just dont seem to have any specialness to them.

Well that's what makes horse racing -- different tastes.

Just a comment, I don't get the ghetto look.

Are we getting racial here?

not gettin racial, but i beleive this car is classier than some cheapo rice rocket. dont u think? i know everyone has their own tastes, but this just isnt me. The only thing i dont like about them is they are to simple, i think they should be a lil flashyer.

I got them. So I will tell you what I don't like about them.

Without the lowering, it looks like there is a lot of room in the area between the top of the tire and the rim. The OEM wheels are very flashy, and "hide" the space above the wheels (it is an optical design trick).

Like everything, I have had some people say, "Hey, nice wheels" and others say, "I like the stock ones." So, there you go, but I buy stuff for my taste. (It would be a very drab world if we all had the same wheels and mods. I was thinking about saying how bad they were to stop having them show up too much!)

They do make for a "sedate" look -- meaning they are not flashy. So, you and everybody are entitled to their opinions.

The coolest part is that they are really light. So, I actually picked them knowing that I had a slight preference for the Volks, but these were the lightest in this size.

I normally associate the "flash" look with those heavily chromed wheels that fill-up the whole rim. See -- tastes change with all of us.

my $0.02 -- that's all

That's how the Comptech springs drop your car, they give it that raked look.

I am sorry guys but this ass-in-the-air look resembles Lincoln Mark VII with failed front air suspension. I think the drop should be even.

Agreed. The more I look at the drop by Comptech, the more I disagree with it. Oh yeah, the Lincoln drop is awesome . There is one late model Continental chilling in my hood just like that.

Here's a novel idea:

You like 'em...say something. You don't...don't.

Personally, Mike, I love the rims! You know me...I like the open-spoke look.

Too bad we can't get our cars together....they look almost the same.

BTW, wonder why my car looks so much higher than yours?
