OMG! Help me. messed up with timing on rear cam pulley?!?!

ok, so I was out installing my cams and I was finishing up on the front one, but I wanted to make sure both the camshaft pullies were at #1 TDC before I put the rocker arms back in the front cylinder head. I noticed that the rear camshaft pulley was not at TDC anymore, it was at about 75 degrees instead of the 90 degrees where the mark for TDC was at. I checked to make sure it was there before I started the whole thing and the cam pullies and the crank pulley were all at TDC, maybe 5 degrees off.

So I used a wrench to turn it to TDC, but as soon as I get there it suddently PULLS THE WRENCH all the way over to the firewall. It feels like some sort of spring is turning the camshaft or something, and if I turn it manually past a certin point it pull to whichever side of that point that I'm on. So if I'm left of that point it will pull counter clockwise, and if I am right of the point it will pull clockwise. It's definitely not the timing belt because that is slack as I've got the tensioner held in place.

So here is the situation I am in: both head covers off. Front rocker arm assembly is removed, and front camshaft has been replaced. Distributer is still attached. Timing belt is loose, might as well be removed it's not attached to anything.

what the hell did I do?!?!?

Can I just remove the timing belt and remove the wrench attached to the rear cam pulley and then just turn everything to TDC amd slide the timing belt over?!?!?

PLEASE HELP ME FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!!

I knnow this is double post but Iw ant as many people to see this as possible.
