Much more grip in the turns. They don't break loose like the stock tires did. I've only chirped them once on the 1-2 shift since I got them installed too. I need to get them rebalanced though, I don't think the shop did a very good job. I get a vibration sometimes around 60-65 and always above 80.

You are in West Palm...why do you want an all-season tire? Go with a max-performance summer tire.

One Word, MONEY. Im a kid and tires are costly, I dont have the money to dish out on max performance tires, I want a cheap tire that is better than stock.

Get the Kumho ECSTA KH11. They are $93 at tire rack. They are an all season tire and seem to be more of a high performance tire. My friend has them on his Mustang GT and the tread pattern is awesome looking...great reviews on tirerack.com too.

Those are "touring summer" tires, I dont know how much more effective they are then the conti's, I want ride quality/performance/and treadware is a must. Look at the conti ratings for dry/wet handling, cornering, treadware of 400, and ride comfort. I dont know what tire beats it as an all around good tire for $86.

contis have better dry and wet ratings, but i guess those ratings are for ultra high performance summer, so that the ES100 ratings may be lower but they are better performers? How about ride comfort and noise compared to stock tires....also treadware? I burned out my stockers in 8800 miles, thats why im leaning towards the conti's instead of ES100

I still just can not decide, Im gonna order something today but I do not know what to do. r10apple, are you saying that the conti's were worse than stock and give a worse chirp? How does everyone else like the ES100, how many miles did you get out of them with fast and agressive driving? How about the Sumo's HTR+, how do those compare to stock and treadware? I thought the ride comfort and noise of the Conti's was supposed to be good.

Jeez...
Cliff notes: They were better than stock in my opinion, but not up to the task for the price. The Nittos were better (more grip, quieter, etc) and cheaper. I've heard good things about the Sumis except for some people getting some bubbling, so I'd buy those from a local place rather than on line...
