okay ... this is rediculous

rant mode

i've never had anybody fuck with my car. ever. probably because i don't drive it much or leave it places. well i've got it in omaha this week so I can hit the track in Iowa over the weekend. i just went outside to show one of my co-workers here and as he was checking out my brakes, he's like, why are you valve stem caps missing. they were there the other day when i checked tire pressure before leaving town. sure as shit, these kids on bikes were asking me all kinds of questions about my car yesterday in the parking lot. it crossed my mind, but they were like ten, and i'm in the middle of O M A H A ... well i'm almost sure it was them ...

thanks for letting me blow off some steam, i'm about to drive back to that grocery store and run over some little kids. adam, keep the tab going on my therapy, i'll send it to you someday.

that's not as bad as getting keyed or something, but getting your car fucked with no matter what is done pisses me off.

Hahahaha... consider yourself a lucky man if the only thing you have to bitch about (concerning car vandals) is missing valve stem caps.

unfortunately, in this scenario, its the principle more so than the cost involved that hurts so much

Don't be surprised. Omaha is big enough to have [hardened] criminals, too. Not a bad as Minneapolis but.....

Actually, you would be surprised. The crime rate is higher here than it is in Minneapolis, especially property crime. Omaha is higher than the national average for property crime.

Yes. I bought two sets. One with the Delrin inner part, and one all aluminum.

Works as advertised.

Yeah I know, probably. It was just a hit on Fotis cause I know he lives in Mpls and he's so sensitive to crime in his city. It's not really that all that bad in Mpls, it's just that crime went from nearly non-existant in the early 90s to bad. I lived there for over 10 years and I had my car window busted out at least 4 times or every other year. And I always lived in the suburbs.
