Which car? The last one, mine, has stock exhaust. Rondogs car, the other one with the 03 tails, has HKS Draggers, something like that.

As for lights, I don't think his are on. He did clear his headlights, so he may have put brighter bulbs in at the same time.

Oh, and Ron, if you can make that rear, you sold your first kit

A few people like you with 50% deposits and i will keep the prices as low as possible and go ahead and build the whole thing. the whole kit has a tooling price of over 25k, and the front lip is just a fraction of that. I just can't justify making so many full kits when I can invest the capital in a sure seller with more potential, like a new gen TL kit. But dammit, if the demand is there...

still wrapping up final pricing, just hang in there with me guys. worst case scenario, I do the front lip only which has already started. best case scenario, I do the whole kit the way it is in those latest pics. all pieces either way will have the option of being painted or primered or raw polyeurethane. thanks again.

just shooting a question...how close would a prepainted kit be in matching the abp? Pearl colors are pretty hard to match

I'm for the full kit. Keep up the good work Ron! I'm sure we CL owners can't say enough for what you're willing to do for us.

Well, the colors are of OEM, and acura is known to be pretty acurate, unlike say Ford. If you are really concerned tho, you can order the kit prepped and primered and have it painted with the shop of your choice, we can even ship the kit directly to your installer or paint booth.

If you don't make this kit, I'll never be able to look at my car the same way

And I'm with Robeaneee, all the TSX guys and TL guys, heck even the RL guys need to stop whining about needing more options. The CL has never had any options practically, untill now, much thanks to Ron.

Sorry for the rant, just something that always bugged me.

Post prices as soon as you know. Hopefully there will be enough deposits to get the whole kit made.

You got me at the whole kit, if you do it. Great job if you make a rear like that! I am in.

Ron,
In this picture, could you draw a line to show me where the OEM front piece stops and the add on piece starts?

I cracked the lower portion of my front bumper so I may be interested.

Thanks!

I'll take that as a design compliment, melding the OEm with the aftermarket lip. Its actually right where the lower part of the bumper has a line. see the driving light opening, it's actually empty for this image like the 03 CL, but the line that intersects the fog light opening is the seam. hope that helps.

lookin good!

one thing, on the side skirts, where the door is, there's nothing. a panel to go on the door to match the side lines would be the fininshing touch, IMO.

the front is nice...much nicer than the snow plow versus front.

any ideas for a rear spoiler? sema???

You'd probably be better off posting your q's in this thread after reading through it:

I had to make this kit for the CL:
-Add on Front Lip
-Side Skirts
-2 piece rear Skirt (to avoid interference with mufflers)
* all pieces will come with the option of being painted and ready to install.

I really want opinions, this is going to start production next week, and will be done in 10 weeks, hopefully. here are images of the kit as concepts, but the rear skirt will be alot smoother and the front will be nice and full looking. I had to give the CL love, hope you guys can understand that a full bumper was just too much work and money.
I am not really looking at this as an investment, just want to put something on my car that looks hot and share it with fellow CL owners.

Front and Sides:

2 piece Rear Skirt (the production will be alot smoother and cleaner):

Looks great especially the front. what rims are those?
would the front come with a grill both lower and upper.

This may be a silly question (or more likely have to wait), but are there any pix of the tail end in black with the gray section between the pipes? Can't visualize it in my head. Other than that, I just wish I had the extra cash since the kit is pretty sweet.

That was sort of what I meant .. guess I can do that myself now that I'm at home ... was thinking more of a closeup that showed that section on a black car .. in both black and that gray

the materials are being prepared right now, and I was going to send my car over there to have the prototype built onto it, but I was informed that the bumper has to be imaculately perfect condition, never bumped, or repainted. This is so the rest of the production parts don't carry any imperfections the original prototype had. And my car has been hit in the front before. So if anybody is in the Compton (or close to) CA area, and you want a free bodykit, send me an Email, No PM's please, there are too many to sort out who's who. info@ronjonwheels.com I will reply to everyone, no matter what the decision.

they couldn't start it till the TL kit was already underway, since it is the same design team building both.
