ok i did it!! Wow what a shitty job i did! First of all... WE DONT NEED NO STINKIN INSTRUCTIONS!! oh boy wish i did though. I didnt know we have to install that one nut that comes with the AEM kit to the firewall! You say no biggie put it in... but when i tried to take out the nut i think it may have striped cuz i cant take it out!! Is this a problem?? I mean the CAI seem real snug in it. So yea. Im impressed with myself.. i did it all alone, i mean this is my first install ever. I dont i have never even done an oil change! But yea. So is that Rubber nut a must have??

if your talking about the rubber bushing with 2 bolts coming out from each side, then yes, its very important. theyre pretty easy to strip

a local performance shop should be able to give you one for real cheap. i damaged mine and a local shop gave me one for free

Well thats what i need to get put in is the rubber bushing. The Screw thats in there now is the screw that was in there is the same one that was in it before. the screw is in the firewall i think has a striped tread. So i cant get it out to put the rubber bushing it... Im gonna try to take it to auto shop and see if they can cut the bolt out. Unless someone else has an idea how i can take this thing out.
